Fleetwood Town chairman Andy Pilley paid the following tribute after news of the death of much-loved fan Sue White.
Everyone at Fleetwood Town is heartbroken by the news of Sue’s passing, she really was one of the club’s biggest and most loyal supporters.
From a personal point of view, I will remember Sue as a larger-than-life character who will be sorely missed by all.
Whether it was her incredible home and away support, her ever presence at club events, or even the ear-bashing she’d give me in Jim’s Bar after a defeat, Sue was as loyal and dedicated as they come and will be sorely missed.
Clubs like ours are built on the support of people like Sue White and she will always be remembered fondly by all at Fleetwood Town.
My thoughts and best wishes go out to her family and loved ones.
