Scott Pengelly, Barry Baggley and Carl Johnston all played for Northern Ireland’s U19s side this week in two friendlies against Faroe Islands.
All three players have been regulars for Simon Wiles’ Under 18s side over the last 12 months, with Baggley making his first team debut against Walsall last season.
Midfielders Baggley and Johnston, featured in both games, with goalkeeper Pengelly playing the second half of the second match on Thursday, as the young Northern Irish side won 4-0 on Tuesday and 5-0 on Wednesday.
Simon Wiles added: “We’re really proud of all the lads for their involvement with the Northern Irish U19s side this week.
“When you consider that they are playing a year above themselves and it was their first call-up for the Under 19s, they have done brilliantly well.
“We hope they can continue to progress when they return to Fleetwood Town.”
