Fleetwood Town’s Wrens Ladies fell to a 3-0 loss against Tranmere Rovers Ladies on Sunday.

The first team’s result didn’t reflect the way the game was played, as they played well throughout but lost to a very strong Tranmere Rovers side.

The reserves had their first game of the season at the weekend as they played a strong Haslingden Girls and Ladies side. Jodie Hazelhurst and Emily Crook scored for the Wrens Ladies, but Haslingden came out on top in the end, winning the game 4-2 at School Road.

The first team are back in action on Sunday 15th September against West Didsbury & Chorlton at Recreation Ground (12pm kick-off). The address for the venue is: Recreation Ground, Brookburn Road, Chorlton, Manchester, M21 8FE.

The reserves have to wait a fortnight for their next game as they are set to play Blackpool Town Ladies on the Sunday 22nd September (2pm) at School Road. The Address for the venue is School Road, Blackpool, FY4 5DX.
