Fleetwood Town’s Under 18s have extended their Youth Alliance win streak to four after a 1-0 win over Shrewsbury Town on Saturday.
Simon Wiles’ side started off their season with wins over Rochdale, Tranmere Rovers and even a 4-0 win over local rival Preston North End, and now they have come out on top against Shrewsbury, to make it 12 points from four games.
Anthony Williams was the player to get the goal in Shropshire to take the Cod Army up to second in the table.
The Under 18s are back in action on Saturday 12 October as they are set to travel to Carlisle United for a 10:30am kick-off.
