Fleetwood Town forward Dan Mooney featured for Wales U21 on Tuesday Night in their Euro U21 qualifier against Germany.
Mooney – who managed to get an assist in his last international outing against Belgium – featured for 86 minutes on Tuesday and was subbed off for Swansea City youngster Oliver Cooper.
Wales are currently third in the group, on three points after two games. Paul Bodin’s side are back in action on Friday 11th October as they travel to Moldova for their third European Qualifier in Group 9.
Harry Souttar was also on international duty as he was an unused sub for the Socceroos in their first 2022 World Cup qualifier against Kuwait, which they won 3-0 at Al Kuwait Sports Club Stadium.
