Fleetwood sit 4th in the League One after coming back from behind to beat Rochdale last weekend. Full-back, Danny Andrew equalised after Rekeil Pyke opened the scoring after eight minutes. After chances fell for both sides, it was left to Ched Evans to head home from Ash Hunter’s in-swinging cross to give Joey Barton and his side all three points.

Town opened their Trophy campaign with a defeat away at Lancashire rivals Accrington Stanley. John Coleman’s side took the lead in the second half and doubled their later moments later. Paddy Madden converted from the penalty spot – however it wasn’t enough to share the points at the Wham Stadium.

Liverpool’s Under 21s are competing in the Premier League Two – Division One league, with the reds currently sitting 10th after six matches being played.

Looking back at their last result, they drew 2-2 with Leicester City’s Under 21s with Curtis Jones and Luis Longstaff scoring for Liverpool to give them a share of the points.

Neil Critchley’s side faced League Two side Oldham Athletic in their first group match of this competition, however lost out 3-2 at Boundary Park. Neco Williams and Harvey Elliott scored for the red, with Oldham taking the win.
