FLEETWOOD TOWN
Fleetwood make the short trip to the Wham Stadium after a 2-0 defeat away at newly-promoted side Lincoln City, looking to bounce back with a second victory over their Lancashire rivals within the space of ten days.
The two sides met on Saturday 24th August, where Joey Barton’s side picked up all three points thanks to goals from Paddy Madden and Ched Evans. With the rivalry within the two coaching camps, and due to their locations, it will be as competitive as ever come kick-off on Tuesday.
ACCRINGTON STANLEY
Accrington head into the fixture on a positive note after a narrow 2-1 victory over MK Dons on home soil. Colby Bishop and Mark Hughes scored for Stanley, cancelling out Kieran Agard’s 18th-minute strike.
That was Accrington’s first win of the season in all competitions, and they’ll be looking to keep momentum ahead of their next league match against Bristol Rovers.
LAST TIME THE TWO SIDES MET
The last time Fleetwood and Accrington Stanley met was at Highbury Stadium on Saturday 24th August, where Town came away 2-0 winners.
Strikers Paddy Madden and Ched Evans scored the only goals of the match, keeping Town’s unbeaten home record in tacked.

ONE TO WATCH: COLBY BISHOP
The one to watch for Accrington on Saturday is young forward Colby Bishop, after he netted in his side’s 2-1 win over MK Dons.
The 22-year-old signed his first professional contract whilst at Notts County in November 2014 and made his debut for The Magpies a month later, in a 1-0 loss to Milton Keynes Dons at Meadow Lane.
After a short spell at Boston United, he headed to Leamington, and this is where he hit his best run of form so far in his career. Even though he had to split his playing time with a job in school as a teacher, he managed to score 33 goals in 53 games, which got the attention of Accrington.
Since arriving at Stanley in July, he has scored in four of the six games he has played for the club.
