Cod Army defender Harry Souttar scored twice on Tuesday in Australia’s 7-1 victory against Chinese Taipei.
Souttar – who made his Socceroos debut on Thursday against Nepal – made it four goals in two games to round off an unbelievable start to his international career.
Graham Arnold’s side sit top of Group B in the Asia World Cup Qualification Group with nine points from three games, scoring 15 goals in the process.
Souttar will now return back to England and join back up with Joey Barton’s squad on Thursday ahead of this weekend’s Sky Bet League One match with Burton Albion.
