Fleetwood Town Community Trust is delighted to announce that they have reached the finalist stage in two categories at this year’s Wyre Business Awards.
In recognition of the Community Trust’s commitment to enriching the lives of local residents, they have been named finalists in the Community and Charity Organisation of the Year Award, as well as the Corporate and Social Responsibility Award.
Organised by Wyre Council, this will be the sixth awards ceremony celebrating and acknowledging business excellence in the borough.
Matt Hilton, Chief Executive of the Community Trust, said: “I was thrilled when I found out that we have been shortlisted for two Wyre Business Awards.
"We strive to make a difference to the lives of those in our local communities, and last year alone, we managed to engage 13,000 people in our programmes, which I’m really proud of.
“Our partners, stakeholders and employees are crucial in cementing the success of the Trust, and I believe that reaching finalist stage in these awards is testament to all our hard work and dedication.”
Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony which will take place at Marine Hall in Fleetwood on Thursday 5 December.
