Tennis, fitness tests and a barbeque were all on the agenda in Vilamoura on Tuesday as day three of the training camp comes to a close.
The players started their days in the normal fashion, by jumping into the gym early on before an intense training session, which saw everyone compete in an 11-a-side match against each other in the sweltering Portuguese heat.
Lunch then followed, and even a game – or two – of tennis here at Browns Sports Resort. The coaching staff competed against each other, with Joey Barton and Andy Mangan coming out victors.
We caught up with Josh Morris and spoke to him about his time with the side so far, how he’s feeling after a few days in Portugal and the busy schedule coming our way in the near future. Watch the interview here.
The squad then got back together for some refreshments in the afternoon and hit the gym for the second time in the day for a rigorous strength and conditioning session.
The players then chilled out at the end of the day by enjoying a barbeque on-site.
