Fleetwood Town’s Under 18s have touched down in Madrid for their LFE Erasmus pre-season trip to Madrid.
Simon Wiles’ squad will play three games whilst out there, against Rayo Vallecano, Getafe and Atletico Madrid, as well as vigorous training sessions, and even some cultural visits around the Spanish city.
Ahead of the trip, Under 18s coach Wiles gave the club an update on what the players will be doing whilst out there. Here is what he had to say:
“We’re away for 12 days on the LFE Erasmus tour - it’s something the players are really looking forward to. Its going to be a jam-packed 12 days, different experiences whilst out there and it’s something everyone can’t wait to do.
“The lads have got a whole host of activities planned, there are some cultural visits, we have three games out there and we are continuing pre-season, so there will be some training sessions, running sessions. It’s going to be an enjoyable experience, and one that doesn’t come around very often in young players careers.”
