Fleetwood Town can now confirm the fixture details for our pre-season training camp in Portugal.
The Cod Army will be based in Vilamoura from July 7-14, and will undergo an intense training camp before returning to the UK for pre-season friendlies against Port Vale, Carlisle United, Burnley and Preston North End.
In a change to the schedule, Joey Barton’s side will now only play one game in Portugal, on Saturday 13 July against an unnamed Sky Bet Championship side, kicking off at 7pm local time. The match will take place at Estádio Municipal de Albufeira.
A match was scheduled to be played on Tuesday 9 July, but this will now not take place.
Any supporters who had planned to attend the match on the Tuesday, are free to come and watch the team train at their base in Vilamoura. Every training session on the camp is open, should any Town fans wish to attend.
