Fleetwood Town are delighted to announce the signing of Harry Souttar on a season-long loan deal from Stoke City.

The popular central defender returns to Highbury after featuring 11 times for the Cod Army last season, scoring one goal in the victory at Accrington Stanley in March.

The 20-year-old joined from The Potters in January, and made his debut in the 1-0 win against eventual play-off winners Charlton Athletic on February 2.

Upon his return to Fleetwood, head coach Joey Barton said: “We are really pleased to see Harry back with us for the upcoming season.

“He became a really important player in our side towards the end of the season, but was also a really great member of the group with his infectious personality in the dressing room.

“We look forward to seeing him kick on this year and develop further into a key member of the team.”

Harry has signed up for the season, now make sure you do with a 2019/20 Onward Card!
