Here are some of the best images from Fleetwood Town’s pre-season friendly against Premier League side Burnley at Highbury on Tuesday night.
Fleetwood started out the better side on the night, but it was Burnley’s Ali Kioki who opened the scoring from inside Town’s area, before Chris Wood’s tap-in doubled their lead late on. Town piled the pressure on in the last 20 minutes but were unable to make a mark on the score line.
Town’s next match is their final pre-season fixture against Preston North End on Friday 26th July (7:45pm K/O), before the big kick-off against Peterborough United in August.
