Following the huge success of Fleetwood Town’s end-of-season Family Fun Day, the club are delighted to announce they will be doing it all again!
The Cod Army’s second summer Family Fun Day will be held at the club’s Poolfoot Farm training facility and leisure complex in Thornton on Monday August 26.
The Bank Holiday event will feature a host of football competitions and challenges, fun activities, refreshment stalls, BBQs, bouncy castles, inflatables, giant Zorbs raffles and a special outdoor movie screening of a Hollywood blockbuster.
There will also be the chance to meet first-team squad members and get your picture taken with your favourite player as well as club mascot Captain Cod.
And the great thing is entry is ABSOLUTELY FREE!
Alongside the free activities, there will also be a giant Water Park Play Area which will consist of water guns, slip and slide areas, and a bouncy castle water slide… so be prepared to get wet!
Tickets for these one-hour Water Park sessions are just £10 per person and can be purchased ahead of the event from reception at Poolfoot Farm.
Fleetwood Town chairman Andy Pilley said: “Our end-of-season Family Fun Day was such a huge success and was enjoyed by hundreds of families, so we are delighted to announce we are doing it all again on August Bank Holiday.
“Poolfoot Farm is a wonderful community facility which is unrivalled across the North West. To see it full of families and young footballers, all enjoying themselves, is a wonderful sight and we cannot wait to welcome everyone here on the day.”
The Family Fun Day, which begins at 10am, is also helping raise funds for the British Heart Foundation. The charity will have teams of volunteers at Poolfoot on the day – together with their mascot Mr. Hearty.
