Fleetwood Town are pleased to confirm the signing of Stoke City defender Harry Souttar on loan until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old central defender has represented Scotland at Under 19 and U17 level, and came through the ranks at Scottish Premiership side Dundee United.
Souttar made the switch to Stoke in 2016, and made his full debut for the Potters this season in their EFL Cup tie against Nottingham Forest.
A powerful defender who stands at six foot six inches tall, Souttar is available for Saturday’s Sky Bet League One fixture against Charlton Athletic.
Head coach Joey Barton said: “We are really pleased to bring Harry to Fleetwood Town.
“He will provide extra competition in central defence, and we’re confident he can have a positive impact on the squad from now until the end of the season.”
Harry will wear the number 12 shirt whilst at Highbury.
Welcome, Harry!
