Fleetwood Town Wrens Ladies got back to winning ways on Sunday as they performed brilliantly in a 2-0 win over West Didsbury and Chorlton Women at Poolfoot Farm.
Dave Butler’s ladies – who narrowly lost 3-2 to Tranmere Rovers Ladies last time out – came out on top in the fixture at Poolfoot Farm thanks to goals from Lou Gibbins and Beth Gregory.
Goal scorer Gibbins and Holly Hunter were both stand-out players on the day, with both of them staking a shared player of the match award after the game. Keep up the good work ladies!
The Wrens Ladies are next in action on after the New Year as they host Crewe Alexandra Women at Poolfoot Farm, for a 2pm kick-off.
