Poppy shirts raise over £1,700 for Royal British Legion

Cod Army shirts that were auctioned off for the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal have raised over £1,700.

The shirts, which featured specially stuck on poppies and were signed by Town stars, were worn in the games against Bolton Wanderers in Sky Bet League One and Barnet in the Emirates FA Cup last month.

All 15 shirts were sold, with the money raised directly benefiting the Royal British Legion’s work with the Armed Forces Community across the UK.

The club would like to thank everyone who purchased a shirt and for their support of the Royal British Legion!
