Fleetwood Town Wrens Ladies were unlucky not to carry on their recent run of form on Sunday as they narrowly lost 3-2 to Tranmere Rovers Ladies.
The match – which took place at Ellesmere Port Sports Village – was valiantly fought throughout but unfortunately, Dave Butler’s side came out second best in this North West Women’s Regional League fixture.
Dani Cross was the star player during the match, as she managed to score a brace on the day, which earned her the player of the match accolade.
The Wrens Ladies are back in action on Sunday 8 December as they welcome West Didsbury and Chorlton Women to Poolfoot Farm for a 2pm kick-off.
