FLEETWOOD TOWN
Fleetwood started off the new season with two back to back wins in the league, with their third match of being in the first round of the Carabao Cup against Championship side, Nottingham Forest.
Joey Barton’s side played out a five goal thriller at the Keepmoat Stadium against Doncaster at the weekend, with Rovers scoring in injury time to take home all the points.
With two home games to come, it would be the perfect response for Fleetwood to go and pick up all three points against Wycombe, and then against Lancashire rivals Accrington Stanley on Saturday.
WYCOMBE WANDERERS
Wycombe Wanderers currently sit 3rd in the Sky Bet League One table thanks to two wins out of their first three league matches.
The Chairboys opened the new campaign with a 2-0 victory over Bolton Wanderers, before drawing their second game away at Bristol Rovers.
After a second consecutive draw in the first round of the Carabao Cup – with Reading FC going through 4-2 on penalties, it was back to winning ways in the league. With the score two-a-piece going into added on time against MK Dons, David Wheeler scored to give the hosts all three points.

LAST TIME WE MET AT HIGHBURY STADIUM
The last time Fleetwood and Wycombe met at Highbury, the Cod Army drew 1-1 after Paddy Madden had opening the scoring just before half-time.
Dangerman Adebayo Akinfenwa scored ten minutes after the restart, with both teams sharing the points in early October.
ONE TO WATCH: FRED ONYEDINMA
The one to watch for Wycombe Wanderers is Fred Onyedinma - who joined the club on a permanent deal in the summer after a successful loan spell.
The 22-year-old was born in Nigeria and started off his career in the Millwall youth set-up – where he spent six years before making the step up to the first team. He made his debut against Southend United in a FA Cup tie coming on as a second half substitute. The youngster played over 130 games for the club.
Onyedinma joined Wycombe Wanderers on loan in November 2014 for the rest of the season, playing 25 league matches and scoring eight goals.
After a successful season, it was back to Millwall for the midfielder until the 2018/20 campaign. With more than 20 appearances for the Chairboys and after impressing throughout, the club made his move to Adams' Park permanent.
The midfielder has scored two goals already this season, with the first being in their opening day win over Bolton, and his second coming against MK Dons at the weekend in the five goal thriller.
WHAT JOEY BARTON HAD TO SAY:
“There were many positives on Saturday, but we have to learn to keep that back door closed and that is the reality. We have enough attacking threat going forward to cause teams lots of problems, but also we need to be able to see out a game.
“There are still a lot of games to play in this league, and the reality kicks in as we have got a tough fixture at home on Tuesday night to Wycombe and there is no time to feel sorry for ourselves.
“I’d rather us not get beat, so it would have been nice to go into the home fixture with the win and momentum, but as I have said, there is no point feeling sorry as this division is one that rewards that and this is football, so let’s learn from our mistakes ahead of Wycombe.”
