Town return to Highbury this Saturday to take on Graham Coughlan’s Bristol Rovers and are hoping to bounce back from Monday’s derby heartbreak at Blackpool.
Rovers currently sit 15th in the table, seven points behind Joey Barton’s men, after they suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat at home to Rochdale on Easter Monday. Last Friday, they were held to a 1-1 draw away at struggling AFC Wimbledon thanks to Ollie Clark’s late equaliser.
A last-gasp Nathan Delfouneso strike denied The Cod Army a share of the spoils in Monday’s Fylde Coast derby, but they will be hoping to pick up their first victory in five matches when they come up against the West Country side this weekend.
