The club can confirm that Wes Burns’ red card that he picked up against Bradford City at the weekend will stand, with our appeal unsuccessful.
The attacker was dismissed in the 42nd minute for a tackle on Adam Chicksen, with Town going on to win the game 2-1.
Burns will miss the league games against Sunderland, Accrington Stanley and Southend United, as well as next Tuesday’s Checkatrade Trophy fixture against Leicester City Under 21s.
