Fleetwood Town Community Trust had another busy week with two school player visits in the local community.

A host of Town’s first team players tagged along to extra-curricular activities at Stanah Primary School in Thornton and Flakfleet Primary School in Fleetwood.

Tuesday saw Bobby Grant, Conor McAleny, Chris Neal and Gethin Jones turn up to Stanah Primary School to take part in an athletics-based ‘Premier League Primary Stars’ session lead by Community Trust coach Jake Anderton. The four players tested their agility in a game called ‘Change-Change’, which saw them have a good laugh with the children. After that, the four of them sat down for a question and answer session.

On the same day, Nathan Pond, Jordy Hiwula and George Glendon went to Flakefleet Primary School with Community Trust coach Mike Tallentire to participate in a dodgeball session and support the ’Move and Learn’ initiative before taking pictures and signing autographs with the children.
