Fleetwood Town are proud to support young fan Ben Knapman, who is raising money for Cancer Research UK ahead of Saturday’s game with Northampton Town.
The 15-year-old is running from Lytham St Annes to Fleetwood's Highbury Stadium on Saturday, ahead of the game against The Cobblers.
This isn't Ben's first fundraising run, as last year he walked 13 miles to the ground ahead of club's pre-season win over Bolton Wanderers. A superb total of £725.56 was raised in aid of the Bradley Lowery Foundation, which has led to Ben wanting to do more for the charity.
Ben – who has attended every league match this season – said on the run: "Cancer Research is something really close to my heart and with last year’s event, I wanted to help the community and the people in need, and I just hope I can make them proud.
"I have been training hard for the last eight months, and there have been challenges along the way. I am feeling confident about the run and I hope the community continue to donate and support a well worthy cause.
“Hopefully I can get the run finished, and the team can pick up the three points!”
Ben's target is £1,000 and is just over £200 short of this landmark. If you can donate please click the link below:

Good luck Ben and we will see at Highbury on Saturday afternoon!
