Minute silence and black armbands on Saturday in respect for Ted

A minute’s silence will take place before Saturday’s Sky Bet League One fixture with Northampton Town, as well as both teams wearing black armbands, following the passing of Ted Lowery.

Club legend Ted passed away on Friday – just hours before the game with Northampton at Highbury – following a short illness. 

Season Ticket Holders can ‘Toast to Ted’ – by having a Free Pint in Jim’s Bar between 12-2pm, with all supporters advised to get into Highbury early, to pay their respects to a club legend.

The full pre-match schedule is as follows:

14:52pm    Players gathered in tunnel and ready for walk-out       

14:53pm    Player walk-out and handshake       

14:54pm    Coin toss with both team captains       

14:56pm    PA introduced Andy Pilley and Nathan Pond to lay wreath in centre circle.

14:57pm    PA tribute to Ted Lowery.   

14:58pm    Period of Silence   

15:00pm    Kick Off
