It is with extreme sadness that Fleetwood Town can confirm the passing of Life Vice-President Ted Lowery, aged 87.

Ted sadly passed away in the night of the 23rd March 2018, following a short illness, and will be sadly missed by everybody at Fleetwood Town.

Ted arrived at the club in the early 80’s, and was soon appointed onto the club’s committee, and was known as a major helper of the club in a variety of different roles.

He proudly oversaw two trips to Wembley with Fleetwood Town in 1985 and 2014, with club chairman Andy Pilley making Ted Life Vice-President in recognition to his service to the club.

A popular person with a kind heart, Ted always had time for everybody and will be sadly missed by everybody at the football club.

RIP Ted.
