Fleetwood Town are delighted to announce that Harrison Biggins has committed his long-term future to the club by signing a new contract.

Biggins – who celebrates his 22nd birthday today – has been rewarded from his progression from the Development Squad into the first team at Highbury.

The midfielder joined the club from non-league side Stocksbridge Park Steels last summer, and made his EFL debut in December against Wigan Athletic.

On the news, chairman Andy Pilley, said: “We’re delighted to reward Harrison with a new contract after an excellent first eight months at the club.

“He’s a very talented player, who has development into an important member of our first team squad.

“We feel that Harrison has huge potential, which is why we’ve extended his deal until at least 2021.”
