England under 18s begin a triple header of fixtures tonight with a friendly against Qatar at St.George’s Park, with Billy Crellin in contention to feature.

The young goalkeeper was named in Neil Dewsnip’s squad last week, and is battling with Solomon Brynn and Josef Bursik for a starting spot in goal.

Crellin – who came through the club’s academy – was part of the U17 FIFA World Cup winning squad last year and was named alongside players from Manchester City, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur which highlights the incredible achievement for both the club and Billy.

The 17-year-old made his first appearance for the England U18s against South Africa last September, and he then went on to represent the U17s twice in October against New Zealand and a World Cup group stage victory against Iraq.

All the games will be played behind closed doors at St.George’s Park, with the match kicking off at 7pm.
