Fleetwood Town’s first team squad returned to training on Monday at Poolfoot Farm as preparations began for the new Sky Bet League One season.
Head coach Joey Barton took charge of his first session, and was joined by new first team coaches Clint Hill and Steve Eyre.
New signing Eddie Clarke was present, alongside the likes of Alex Cairns, Kyle Dempsey, Cian Bolger and last season’s Player of the Year Ashley Eastham.
Barton met all staff based at the club’s training ground and held a meeting with all players, backroom staff and non-footballing staff before the team headed out onto the lush pitches at Poolfoot to begin training.
