Fleetwood Town are delighted to announce that chief executive Steve Curwood has been re-elected onto the FA Council for a third consecutive year.

The FA Council is made up for 127 members from various organisations across the English game, including the Premier League, EFL, local County FA’s and many more.

Steve will take up one of the six EFL seats on the council, after a vote last month which will also see Bristol Rovers CEO Martyn Starnes join the council.

The council’s first meeting will take place on the 25th July, where Steve will establish what sub-committee he will work across for the following season. Last year Steve worked on the Emirates FA Cup and was on the FA Youth Committee.

Congratulations Steve, from everyone at Fleetwood Town!
