Fleetwood Town can confirm that Godswill Ekpolo has joined Spanish third division side Mérida AD for an undisclosed fee.
Godswill joined the club in November 2016 after leaving Barcelona B, and went on to make 15 appearances in all competitions for the Cod Army, scoring once in the Checkatrade Trophy against Leicester City under 21s this season.
