Fleetwood Town can confirm that an agreement has been reached to sign midfielder Toumani Diagouraga.
We are delighted to announce the midfielder – who is currently at Plymouth Argyle – will join the Cod Army following the completion of his current contract with The Pilgrims on Tuesday.
The 30-year-old has been in outstanding form this season, featuring 15 times, as Argyle moved from the foot of League One to the top half. Form which saw him wanted by a number of Championship and League One clubs.
Diagouraga played under Town head coach Uwe Rosler at Brentford, and has also enjoyed spells at Leeds United, Portsmouth and Ipswich Town in recent years.
