Mark Heywood is the referee for Fleetwood Town’s Sky Bet League One match at home to Scunthorpe United.
The Englishman has officiated in 21 matches this season, with Saturday’s match being his ninth League One match of the season. He has handed out 85 yellow cards, and two red cards.
Heywood’s last game involving Town was on Boxing Day last year where Uwe Rosler’s side won 2-1 at Oldham Athletic thanks to goals from Devante Cole and Ashley Hunter. His last trip to Highbury was in the FA Cup in the club’s 3-2 win over Shrewsbury.
The referee’s last match in charge of Scunthorpe was also in the Emirates FA Cup, this time on December 3rd 2017 where the Iron lost 3-0 in the first round to Doncaster Rovers.
Peter Gooch and Geoffrey Liddle will be Heywood’s assistants on Saturday, with Simeon Lucas being named as the fourth official.
