Fleetwood Town can confirm that young defenders Luke Higham and Harrison Holgate have joined FC United and Stalybridge Celtic on loan respectively.
Higham – who joined from Blackpool last summer – has featured in Paul Murray’s Development Squad this season, and has joined FC United on a short-term loan until 12th March 2018. The left-back made his first team debut in the Checkatrade Trophy this season, performing well in the group stage victory at Carlisle United.
Central defender Holgate – who is a key member of Nathan Rooney’s under 18s side – has joined Celtic on a standard youth loan until the end of the season.
