Gavin Ward is the referee for Fleetwood Town’s Checkatrade Trophy quarter-final match away at Yeovil Town.
The Englishman has officiated in 32 matches this season, with Tuesday’s match being his seventh Checkatrade Trophy match of the season.
Ward hands out an average of 2.9 cards a game, with 88 yellow cards, and four red cards shown in 2017/18.
Ward’s last game involving Town was back in 2015 when the Cod Army travelled to Bristol City in League One. The match finished 2-0 to the home side with goals from Matt Smith and Jay Emmanuel-Thomas ensuring all three points.
The referee heads back to Somerset only two months after his last visit, where he officiated in the Glover’s 3-2 win over Port Vale.
Gary Maskell and Dean Treleaven will be Ward’s assistants on Tuesday, with John Busby being named as the fourth official.
