The one to watch for the clash against MK Dons at Highbury is attacker Kieran Agard.

The pacey winger began his professional career at Everton, progressing through their youth system. In September 2009, Agard made his first team debut for the Toffees in a 4-0 away win against Hull City in the League Cup.

The 28-year-old had two loan spells at Peterborough United and Kilmarnock respectively before joining Yeovil Town on a one-year deal.

Agard produced stellar performances during his time with the Glovers, but he left the club when his contract expired, and he signed for Rotherham United, where he became a revelation.

In his two years with the Millers, Agard became the talisman for Rotherham achieving back-to-back promotions. The London-born forward was unstoppable, particularly in Rotherham’s League One promotion-winning campaign, scoring 21 league goals.

In August 2014, Agard opted to stay in League One and he signed for Bristol City for an undisclosed fee. Yet again, the tricky winger blossomed as he fired City to the League One title and Wembley ecstasy, beating Walsall 2-0 in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.

In his only season in the Championship with City, Agard helped his side finish 18th in the table and avoid relegation.

But at the end of the season, Agard was on the move again, joining MK Dons for a club-record fee. He scored twice on his debut against Millwall and he produced impressive displays during his two years with the Dons.

Agard has scored four league goals this current campaign, and he will be hoping to add to that tally in the Dons’ fight to avoid relegation.
