Three Fleetwood Town players were in action over the weekend for their loan clubs.

We look back at the Fleetwood Town players who were in action for their respective loan clubs for the last week, let's see how they have got on…

Matt Urwin – who has returned to Chorley FC on loan a deal until the end of season – started for the Magpies on Saturday in their third game in the National League North campaign. The goalkeeper made his first appearance of the season and kept a clean-sheet in their 1-0 victory over Nuneaton Borough; with Marcus Carver getting on the scoresheet for Chorley.

Dan Mooney is on loan at Chester FC, and the youngster found himself on the wrong end of an 8-1 defeat to Blyth Spartans. Mooney played 62 minutes at the weekend, and went close to scoring just before coming off with his curling effort from 25 yards hitting the crossbar. The 19-year old created a number of chances in the first half, with his team mates failing to convert their efforts in front of goal.

Billy Crellin - who recently signed a long-term contract at Highbury – featured in FC United of Manchester 3-0 at home to Boston United. Crellin made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, and in the 61st minutes of the match to deny Boston doubling their lead. The 18-year old has featured in all FC United of Manchester’s games this season.
