Fleetwood Town are delighted to confirm the signing of James Husband from Norwich City.
The left-back joins on loan initially until January, and took part in his first training session with his new teammates at Poolfoot Farm on Monday.
The 24-year-old began his career at Doncaster Rovers, before signing for Middlesborough, with the Leeds-born defender enjoying successful loan spells at both Fulham and Huddersfield Town whilst at The Riverside.
Husband joined Norwich in 2017, and has now linked up with Joey Barton’s side ahead of Wednesday’s Sky Bet League One match at Scunthorpe United.
On the move, Barton said: “We are really pleased to have James with us at Fleetwood Town.
“He will add more competition at left-back, and brings both Championship level experience to our team. He is fit and ready to go, and I can’t wait to see him in action for us.”
James will wear the number 26 shirt whilst at the club.
