On-loan midfielder Jason Holt says Fleetwood Town are looking to continue their strong start to the new season with a first home win on Saturday.

The Scottish maestro has featured in the last four league matches after missing the first match game with AFC Wimbledon due to suspension. Holt, scored his first goal for the club in their historic Carabao Cup tie at Crewe Alexandra, and is looking to add to his goal tally throughout the season.

Bradford come here on the back of a 2-1 defeat at home to Wycombe Wanderers, and it could be the game that the Cod Army look at for their first win at home.

Here are the best quotes from Jason’s pre-match interview.

On picking up the first home win this Saturday…

“It would be a fantastic feeling winning our first game at home, and as we’ve pointed out, the home form is something we need to improve if we are to be successful.

“In the two games at home, we have only picked up one point and that will be one aspect that we look to change, and Saturday would be the perfect start for us to get on a winning streak at Highbury.”

On the threats that Bradford City pose…

“It will be a difficult game and there’s no doubt about that!

“Before the game, we will sit down and analyse and pick out the weaknesses of Bradford. The Gaffer will sit down with us too and point out areas in the game where we can do well and use that to get a positive result.

“I did score last time I played against Bradford, but first and foremost it is about the team’s goals and then secondly we look at personal goals.

“We are under no illusions, we know it will be a tough game on Saturday.”

On the start to the season…

“We have had a positive start to the season and the big positive is the away form and picking up two wins from three, where on the flip side it has been slightly disappointing at home not getting the results.

“Last week was a great one on the road and I think it’s a solid base, alongside the clean sheets we have kept, it really is something to build on as successful teams use that as a foundation.

“Our home form is something we as players will look to put right this weekend against Bradford."
