Fleetwood Town are pleased to announce the signing of experienced goalkeeper Paul Jones on a one-year contract.
The 32-year-old becomes Joey Barton’s tenth signing of the summer transfer window, after a successful trial period at the club.
Jones – who most recently has been at Norwich City – is known for his spells at Exeter City, Crawley Town and Portsmouth – where he played a combined total of over 300 games.
Standing at six foot, three inches, the Maidstone-born stopper will provide competition for Alex Cairns and Matt Urwin, with young goalkeeper Billy Crellin on loan at FC United.
