Fleetwood Town supporter Ben Knapman will have a day to remember this Saturday, as he travels with the first team squad to the big derby match with Blackpool.
15-year-old Ben has attended all 42 Sky Bet League One fixtures this season, and has recently raised over £1,500 for Cancer Research UK, running a half marathon before Town’s game with Northampton last month.
Ben runs a popular YouTube channel, called ‘Cods Vlogs’, and even interviewed head coach John Sheridan and the club’s training ground Poolfoot Farm a couple of weeks ago.
The Cod Army head coach has given Ben an exclusive day out, which will see him join the team for their pre-match meal, before boarding the first team coach to Bloomfield Road.
Sheridan added: “We see Ben at every match and he’s the first person to welcome the team when they arrive at the ground.
“He came to interview me last month for his YouTube channel and he was excellent – and asked a few tough questions! We’re delighted to welcome him to the training ground and onto the bus for the game.
“We’re sure he’ll have a great time and a day to remember.”
