Graham Horwood has been announced as the referee for Town’s trip to Peterborough United this Saturday.

The Englishman has been in charge of 23 games so far this season, with nine of them being League One ties. Horwood has, so far, handed out 78 yellow cards, and two red cards.

The last time he officiated a Fleetwood game was just over 12 months ago, when they beat Oxford United 3-1 at The Kassam Stadium. Bobby Grant opened the scoring early on through a penalty, with Ashley Eastham and David Ball adding goals late on.

Horwood’s last meeting with Peterborough came in December 2016 when they drew 1-1 to Gillingham at The London Road Stadium. Lee Angol put The Posh ahead in the 78th minute, but former Town loanee Baily Cargill equalised in extra-time.

Callum Walchester and Andrew Aylott will be running the lines on Saturday, with Mark Jones acting as fourth official.
