Danish supplier join Cod Army ahead of 2018/19 season

Fleetwood Town are delighted to announce a new long-term kit partnership with Danish kit manufacturer Hummel, taking effect from the 2018-19 season.

Hummel will provide a bespoke home and away kit for the Cod Army next season, with the home strip retaining its traditional red and white colours, with the away kit a vibrant looking change of strip.

The new home and away kits will be unveiled at the end of May, with both shirts available to purchase in early July ahead of the pre-season trip to Budapest.

Ahead of that date, the new Hummel leisure range stock will be available to purchase and in stock in May.

The portfolio of clubs wearing the famous Hummel chevrons next season will include The Danish National Team, Danish Superliga club Brøndby IF, Bundesliga side SC Freiburg and Championship side Middlesbrough.

Founded in 1923, Danish sportswear brand Hummel are one of the oldest sport brands in the world with an incredible footballing heritage. 

Steve Curwood, CEO, Fleetwood Town, said: “This is a great news for Fleetwood Town Football Club to enter a new partnership with Hummel.

“Hummel are a big name brand known around the world, and we hope our supporters will enjoy the new bespoke kits ahead of the new season. We’re hoping for a successful four years working together with Hummel.”

The club have agreed a long-term deal with Hummel, who will replace Puma, who have supplied the club’s kit since 2014. The club would like to thank Puma via Genesis Sports for their work during this time.
