Fleetwood Town paid tribute to club legend and Vice President Ted Lowery on Tuesday at his funeral.

The service - which was held at Carleton Crematorium - was led by club chaplain George Ayoma and was attended by players and staff past and present, along with Ted’s close friends and family.

Amongst those in attendance was club chairman Andy Pilley, head coach John Sheridan and the full first team squad. Former manager Graham Alexander and assistant Chris Lucketti also paid their respects. Fans favourite Jon Parkin was one of six men who carried Ted’s coffin, along with Nathan Pond, Cian Bolger, Ashley Eastham, Chris Neal and Bobby Grant.

Refreshments and drinks were available in the Parkside Suite at Highbury Stadium, where friends, family and former colleagues remembered Ted’s life, sharing stories and memories of the great man.
