FTFC eSports recorded their second win of the season on Tuesday night against Nelson FC and now sit top of the Virtual Pro Gaming League Two North, following a second straight 4-0 victory.
The club's top goal scorer Harry 'Sinclair11x' Hayward made it three in two as he broke the deadlock in the 10th minute, finishing off a well worked move in the middle of the park with Sebastiaan 'MrSebastiaan09' Vogel's laying the ball off to the talisman to bury it into the net.
The Cod Army doubled their lead just before the break when Sebaastian headed the ball home from close range, and it was a great 45 minutes for the playmaker on his FTFC eSports league debut.
The third goal came in the 68th minute and after a lovely disguised pass from Man of the Match Sebastiaan, Ro 'ohhDzicnZ' Mitchell's only had to get contact on the ball to slip it pace the Nelson FC goalkeeper.
The fourth and final goal came in injury time as the home side pushed on, and with gaps in their back four, and with the quality up top, Sebaastian got his third assist and oohDzicnZ scored his second of the game to make it 4-0 for the boys in red.
The Man of the Match spoke to us after the final whistle and said: "It was a great performance from the team. I am very happy with the 3 points and to be awarded the MOTM, but it was a team effort and we need to go again on Thursday."
With two wins out of two, FTFC eSports are top of the league table and will look to pick up another three points in their final game of the week on Thursday evening.
