Fleetwood Town are pleased to confirm the signing of young midfielder Sebastien Des Pres.
Des Pres links up with Paul Murray’s Development Squad after an impressive spell at neighbours Blackpool and has penned a 12-month-deal with the Cod Army.
The 18-year-old – who made his Seasiders debut in their Checkatrade Trophy third round defeat against Wycombe in January – also spent time in the academy at Real Salt Lake in America.
Development Squad head coach Paul Murray, added: “We’re really pleased to have signed Seb. He has great potential and caught my eye whilst he was at Blackpool.
“He is very strong technically, but there is obviously still a lot of work ahead for such a young player. I’m sure he’ll get lots of game time in our Development Squad and it’s up to him to take the initiative. We look forward to seeing him develop at Fleetwood Town.”
