The referee for the First Round FA Cup tie between Chorley and Fleetwood Town is Eddie Ilderton.

Ilderton has officiated 12 matches this season, all in a variety of competitions in England.

The referee has never refereed at Victory Park, however he was last at Highbury on Tuesday 3rd October 2017 for the Football League Trophy match between Fleetwood Town and Morecambe. Town came out 2-1 winners on the night.

He has officiated eight Fleetwood games since the club joined the Football League back in 2012. Town have won three out of the eight games, drawing three, and losing two.

Monday’s televised FA Cup match will be Ilderton’s first involving Non League side Chorley.

The Englishman has handed out 33 yellow cards, and five red cards so far this season, with two of those coming in the first league game of the season between Chesterfield and Grimsby.

Paul Newhouse and Natalie Aspinall will assist Eddie Ilderton on Monday night with the Fourth Official being named as Mark Heywood.
