Defender selected for World Cup qualifier
Fleetwood Town defender Conor McLaughlin has been called up to the Northern Ireland squad for the World Cup qualifier with Norway on March 26th.McLaughlin - who featured for Michael O'Neill's side in the European Championships last year - has featured 22 times for his country and scored one goal.
The 25 year old has taken over the captaincy at Town in the last few weeks in the absence of Nathan Pond, and has been an ever present as Uwe Rosler's side progressed to second in Sky Bet League One.
