Fleetwood Town are delighted to announce Rob Kelly has signed a long-term contract to remain as the club’s assistant head coach.

The news follows on from last week’s announcement that head coach Uwe Rosler committed his future the club.

Kelly – who was also assistant to Rosler at Leeds United – was brought in with the German just days before the start of the 2016/17 season.

Kelly added: “I’m really pleased to have been asked to be a part of the club moving forward. I’m really happy to be here and help build something for the future at the club.

“We are building and growing together – it’s going to be an exciting season in lots of different ways. Some senior players have left us, but it’s exciting in another way for us to build and grow another side.”
