Head coach Uwe Rosler will look to utilise Tuesday night’s pre-season friendly against Tranmere Rovers to take a look at his squad.

Rosler oversaw a 2-0 win over Sky Bet Championship side Bolton Wanderers on Saturday, as Town continue their preparations for the new season which starts in less than two weeks.

“We are using our resources what we have available, and we use them in a very good way,” said Rosler.

“I will look to rotate because it’s important for us that we are a team and we showed that last year. I will rotate because it’s important we have energy and mentality on the pitch.

“We have a lot of good football players, but perhaps not the experience. The energy and mentality comes when we rotate, we learnt our lesson from last year where in the end of last season we couldn’t do that and it cost us.

On a day when two of Town’s new signings – Jordy Hiwula and Conor McAleny – scored, the 48 year-old gave an insight into the club’s plans in the transfer market.

“Our recruitment is not finished, we need two more players. That will then allow us to let more players go out on loan, which will they let us have a healthy balance in the squad.

“I think we all integrated them well, and the players integrated themselves well. They have our DNA, they have potential and they all have experience too. I think that is what we are looking for.”
